Thank you! I totally appreciate the feedback. Some on our board are appreciating that tag line / summary also. I'm happy to hear it resonates - seems more clarifying than "energizing the majority." We'll still use that - but the longer one helps for a better description.

And I'm with you - we totally can. -Vanessa

I am looking forward to your specific prescriptions as to what citizens can do thwart Trump, demagoguery, authoritarianism, and violence. SO many want to help but do not know what to do. I write . . . . Stay well,

Your feedback is powerful, helpful, and appreciated. Now we build forward from here. This shift is about to get real. :)

I had a look. This looks terrific. The only constructive feedback I have is that the repeated language “the shift“ is vague and imprecise for those of us who only vaguely understand what “the shift“ is. I would be more clear and concrete about what you’re fighting for and what you’re fighting against, using the language of “the shift“ less frequently. I hope this is valuable feedback.

Thank you! Yeah I've kind of gotten into the habit and probably overuse it. I tried to do a little bit more language about change and just changing the overall direction here for the country. That's really what it is. Going down a different path than the one we're being pushed down by the extremist crowd.

Appreciate the heads up. As I put together the stuff in this plan for next week I'll keep that in mind. -Vanessa

Wow. Just wow. It takes a lot to be vulnerable, to share our humanity. You showed yours when you picked up the young man (and I was equally impressed with the steps you took to ensure your safety). That young man now has a story, and so do we. This is the kind of connection we need--person to person. Thanks, Vanessa.

Thank you thank you, Evelyn. I love hearing what jumps out. For me the fact that that happened was completely unexpected, but so surprising. Yet I also was open to it. Thank you for your words. I was hoping that that's what would come across. These human connections are exactly what we need, as you say. - Vanessa
